About Sacred Spirit Holistic
Founder of Sacred Spirit Holistic
– My Story
I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and the unique experiences that shape who they are. Over time, this grew into a deep interest in supporting people living with psychosocial disability, trauma, neurodivergence and complex life experiences in ways that honour the whole person rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or set of symptoms.
My professional practice has been shaped by both formal training and personal experience, allowing me to bring understanding alongside evidence-informed practice while keeping the focus where it belongs—on you.
I don’t believe people are defined by their diagnosis, and I don’t believe there is one pathway to recovery. Two people living with the same diagnosis may have completely different experiences, strengths, challenges and goals. Recovery is deeply personal, and support should reflect that.
I believe people already hold strengths, wisdom and capacity within themselves. My role isn’t to fix you or tell you what your recovery should look like. Instead, I create the space for you to explore what recovery means for you, recognising and building upon the strengths, wisdom and capacity you already hold.
– About Charli
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me somewhere quiet and cosy getting lost in a good book, spending time with the people I love, finding my way into my next adventure or following those little sparks of curiosity wherever they lead me.
I’m deeply curious about life and all the different facets of being human.
I love learning, creating, being in nature and discovering new ways of understanding ourselves and the world around us. I’m always dipping my toes into something new — discovering a new place, going on a new adventure, or following a new passion wherever it leads. Writing has always been a big part of my life, including poetry and spoken word.
I’m obsessed with books and learning, and there is almost always something new I’m reading, studying or writing about.
Yoga has a special place in my heart. For me, yoga is so much more than exercise or a physical practice. It’s a way of life that influences how I move through the world and how I connect with myself. This has naturally led me to a deep interest in Ayurveda, holistic health and the many different ways we can support our wellbeing.I value authentic connection with the people close to me, and the kind of deep conversations that wander into philosophy, meaning and all the wonderfully complicated questions of life. The people who know me best often describe me as grounded, resourceful, a good listener and someone with a calming presence. I believe life is meant to be explored. That we should follow our passion, seek out the things that make us feel alive, and have the courage to bring our passions into being. There is always something new to discover. I intend to keep discovering.
Sacred Spirit Holistic
Recovery isn’t about becoming a different person or finding a quick solution. It looks different for everyone and often unfolds gradually through small moments of understanding, meaningful conversations, supportive relationships, and practical changes that begin to create a life that feels more meaningful. As a Holistic Counsellor and Psychosocial Recovery Coach, I offer support that honours the whole person. Recovery can involve emotional wellbeing, the nervous system, relationships, daily functioning, identity, purpose, physical health, and the many life experiences that have shaped who we are. Rather than focusing on one part in isolation, I see these areas as deeply interconnected, each influencing and shaping the others.
My role isn’t to fix you or tell you what your recovery should look like. Instead, I create the space for you to explore what recovery means for you, recognising and building upon the strengths, wisdom and capacity you already hold.
Together, we can explore what recovery means for you, develop practical strategies that support your wellbeing, and work towards creating a life that feels more connected, sustainable and aligned with what matters most to you. Healing begins in the space where we feel safe enough to reconnect with ourselves.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in curiosity and non-judgement. I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and create space for people to discover their own answers. While I can offer guidance, education and practical strategies, I don’t believe lasting change comes from someone else having all the answers. More often, it comes from people reconnecting with their own values, strengths and understanding of themselves.
I work from a holistic, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming perspective that recognises the connection between emotional wellbeing, the nervous system, physical health, relationships, identity and lived experience. Recovery isn’t simply about reducing symptoms; it’s about creating a life that feels meaningful, sustainable and authentic.
Holistic Counsellor & Psychosocial Recovery Coach
“My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and focused on building capacity, connection, and wellbeing — because recovery isn’t a checklist, it’s a relationship.”
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate their own recovery.
My hope is that every person I work with leaves feeling heard, respected, and more connected with their own strengths than when they arrived.
I welcome people from diverse backgrounds, identities and life experiences, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel respected, accepted and supported as your authentic self.
